The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhinehold thows a leg kick but Vos checks it and Vos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vos. Vos trying to control the position from guard on top but Rhinehold is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rhinehold can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vos controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rhinehold remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Vos tries to buck Rhinehold off but Rhinehold is having none of it. Vos struggling a bit here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crewman V throws a hook to the side of Vachon's head but Vachon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Crewman V misses with a few strikes there.

Ball moves in looking to clinch but Rautio pushes him off. Ball wants to clinch. Rautio lands a right hook to the body.

Stone thuds his right hand into Hardy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hardy lands a nice looking body kick. Hardy slips under a jab. And that's the end of the fight! Outlaw Hardy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hardy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vettenranta gets the takedown into side control. Seppala throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Vettenranta darts in looking for a takedown but Seppala gets double underhooks and turns Vettenranta into the cage. Vettenranta dives in for a single leg takedown but Seppala sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Seppala definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Seppala cracks Vettenranta with a right hand to the side of the head. Seppala misses with a hook
and Vettenranta counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vettenranta is trying to control. Seppala wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Seppala has his hands clasped together around Vettenranta's back. He's all about the action. Seppala is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Seppala on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Seppala tries to get out of the position. Vettenranta missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Seppala is looking to control Vettenranta's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Seppala avoid being mounted? In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Vettenranta working his ground and pound in the gym. Vettenranta is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vettenranta throwing shots but Seppala is blocking nicely. Vettenranta looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Seppala is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vettenranta maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Seppala could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Vettenranta has cracked it and Seppala is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Vettenranta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pake staying out of range there. Galvao lands a slapping body shot.
Galvao connects with a body shot that sends Pake's belly button to the back. A left lands for Pake. Pake shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Galvao closes the distance and pushes Pake back into the cage. Pake lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Pake misses with a short punch on the inside. Galvao lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Galvao lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pake or not. Pake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pake throws a jab but it's blocked by Galvao. Pake misses with a lunging right hand
and Galvao holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Galvao jumps guard but Pake stands there with Galvao around his waist. Galvao gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pake crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Galvao - the referee stops the clock and Pake gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Galvao. Pake manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Good leg kick by Galvao there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pake sets himself, and Galvao steps forward looking for the clinch! Pake avoids it this time. Galvao lands with an uppercut that bounces Pake off the cage and back into range. Galvao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Galvao doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Galvao rushes Pake and presses him up against the cage. Pake lands a left hand.

Galvao on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pake takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Galvao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Galvao uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pake. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Julio Galvao will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Galvao is rocked! Pake is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Galvao can do to turn this around? Pake throws a pinpoint strike between Galvao's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Galvao crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Pake scores a great knockout victory!

Nystrom misses with a right hand and Jacquard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nystrom misses with an uppercut. Jacquard saw that one coming. A decent looking cross lands there for Nystrom. Nystrom fails in his attempt to clinch. Nystrom throws a body punch but Jacquard moves out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Jacquard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nystrom tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacquard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jacquard moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jacquard throws a shot from downtown. Nystrom moves away and avoids it. Jacquard seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Nystrom shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jacquard is backing up but Nystrom catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jacquard covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Nystrom Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noam Nystrom! Noam Nystrom is the new lightweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Noam Nystrom thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
