The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling John to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.
John misses the shot to the body.
John fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dimitrov checks it well.
A jab from John does it's job there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dimitrov.
John misses with a left hand
and Dimitrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dimitrov lands with a slapping head kick.
John comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dimitrov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from John.
A little jabbing left from Dimitrov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
John misses with a leg kick
and Dimitrov counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
John scores with a sloppy right hand. Dimitrov should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
John attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dimitrov is looking for the big counter here.

John tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
John throws a leg kick
and Dimitrov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
John rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dimitrov counters with a solid body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by John. That's going to slow Dimitrov down.
John misses with a looping left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dimitrov! But no joy.
Dimitrov staying out of range there.
Dimitrov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts John, as that shot connected.
That has opened up Daniel Dimitrov's cut even more.
Dimitrov sends John crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dimitrov is motioning to the referee to let John up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dimitrov moves away from the strike by John.
Dimitrov throws a big counter head kick but John avoids it with no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
John uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dimitrov.
Dimitrov throws a body shot but no joy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from John, right into the meat.
John lands with a cross.
Scott John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dimitrov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A clash of legs there as Dimitrov blocks the low kick.
It seemed like Dimitrov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
John feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dimitrov sprawling to the canvas! Dimitrov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can John finish him?!
Dimitrov is rocked!
John lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Pate ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mayhem fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pate.
Pate throws a jab when Mayhem was well out of range.
Mayhem half committed to a counter leg kick.
Mayhem bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pate's head backwards.
Pate scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mayhem doesn't seem bothered though.
Pate looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pate cracks Mayhem with an open hand slap.
Mayhem moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mayhem throws a big shot that misses.
Mayhem looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mayhem avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bryan Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mayhem tries to move into range but Pate moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Pate keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Pate drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mayhem right on the button. Mayhem goes down! Pate follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Pate gets the win via TKO!
