Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Panayotov (ranked 1743 p4p, 230 weight class) and Harry Winston (ranked 1219 p4p, 168 weight class). Panayotov comes to the cage accompanied by Mad World - Gary Jules / Tears For Fears (Cover by Jasmine Thompson). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Panayotov circles away quickly and effectively. Panayotov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Panayotov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Panayotov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Winston throws a lazy uppercut
and Panayotov counters with a nice uppercut. Winston with a hook. Panayotov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Winston. Winston lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Panayotov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Winston throws a sloppy head kick and Panayotov moves out of range easily. Winston throws a shot from downtown. Panayotov moves away and avoids it. Winston tries a low kick but Panayotov avoids it. Panayotov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A chopping leg kick lands by Panayotov. Winston lands a leg kick that knocks Panayotov off balance momentarily. Winston lands a nice shot that snaps Panayotov's head back.

That was a close round but I would say that Nikolay Panayotov will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter slips under a jab. Raharuhi lands a front kick. Fighter lands with a straight right. Raharuhi didn't see that one coming. Fighter misses with an attempted mid kick.
Raharuhi appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Raharuhi avoids the body shot from Fighter.
A little jabbing left from Raharuhi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fighter throws a body punch but Raharuhi moves out of range. Fighter lands a body shot.
Fighter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Raharuhi. Fighter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Crunch! Fighter slams his shin into Raharuhi's torso. Fighter tries to score with a low kick but Raharuhi moves his leg out of the way. Fighter thumps Raharuhi with a low kick. Nice defenses there by Fighter. Fighter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Alpha Midget in the buildup to the fight. Raharuhi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Raharuhi missing with a left hand there. Fighter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raharuhi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter moves away. Raharuhi gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Taine Raharuhi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fighter with a jab. Fighter slips a jab and a cross from Raharuhi.
Fighter works the jab nicely. Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raharuhi moves away. Fighter throws a leg kick but Raharuhi sees it coming and moves out of range. Raharuhi throws a body punch but Fighter moves out of range. Fighter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Raharuhi. A bone on bone clash there as Fighter blocks the leg kick.
Fighter half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Fighter. That's going to slow Raharuhi down. Raharuhi gets caught flat footed, as Fighter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fighter stopping the sweep attempt from Raharuhi. Raharuhi keeping moving, preventing Fighter from controlling successfully. Fighter is looking to advance position but Raharuhi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raharuhi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Raharuhi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fighter has worked his arm free - good work by Fighter!

Fighter controlling the pace. Fighter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Raharuhi is just riding it out for now. Fighter eventually gives up the hold. Fighter seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Raharuhi! The referee warns Raharuhi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Raharuhi regains half guard. Raharuhi has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Raharuhi is looking to improve his position.
Raharuhi is looking to control Fighter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Raharuhi avoid being mounted? Fighter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Raharuhi defends it well. Fighter seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Fighter connects with a body shot that sends Raharuhi's belly button to the back. Fighter swings for the body but Raharuhi moves out of range.
No joy there for Raharuhi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Raharuhi scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fighter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raharuhi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fighter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Raharuhi can do to turn this around? Raharuhi wants to control but Fighter postures up. Fighter trying to control the position but Raharuhi is working away. Raharuhi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Raharuhi is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Raharuhi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Street Fighter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fighter trying to control but Raharuhi is having none of it. Raharuhi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fighter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fighter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Raharuhi wants to control but Fighter is having none of it. Raharuhi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fighter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fighter content just to control the position here.

Raharuhi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fighter has hold of Raharuhi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Raharuhi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fighter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Raharuhi is looking to escape. Fighter tries to push Raharuhi's head away but Raharuhi is holding on tight.

Fighter looking to control but Raharuhi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fighter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. and Raharuhi counters by clinching up. Raharuhi has a couple of punches blocked by Fighter.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fighter takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Fighter gets through Raharuhi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Raharuhi swings wildly with an uppercut but Fighter uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, Raharuhi scores with a nice short uppercut. Fighter struggles to land a body shot inside as Raharuhi controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Fighter tries to pull guard but Raharuhi holds him up against the cage and eventually Fighter drops back down to his feet.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Raharuhi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fighter misses with a hook to the ribs.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fighter here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Raharuhi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fighter's elbow. Raharuhi swings wildly with an uppercut but Fighter uses good head movement to avoid it. Fighter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fighter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Street Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raharuhi tries to work over Fighter's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Fighter lands with a left to the head. Fighter jumps guard and drags Raharuhi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fighter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter pulls Raharuhi in close to prevent any damage.

Raharuhi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raharuhi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fighter keeping moving, preventing Raharuhi from controlling successfully. Fighter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter loads up on a big right hand but Raharuhi slips the punch. Street Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Raharuhi throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter moves out of range easily. Raharuhi misses with a hook. Fighter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Raharuhi finds it's way round the side to connect with Fighter's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter throws a low kick but Raharuhi moves out of range easily. Raharuhi stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Fighter.

A lazy body kick from Fighter and Raharuhi counters with a stiff right hand. Fighter misses with a body kick. Taine Raharuhi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A leg kick checked by Fighter. Fighter listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Street Fighter is winning the standup battle so far. Raharuhi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Raharuhi there as he acknowledges the shot. Fighter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Raharuhi checks a leg kick nicely. Fighter tries to land a front kick but Raharuhi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A slow jab from Raharuhi misses its intended target. Raharuhi connects with the punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Raharuhi is looking to chop away at Fighter's legs. Fighter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Raharuhi throws an overhand right that lands on Fighter's shoulder, as Fighter tries to avoid the shot. Fighter throws a big shot that misses. Raharuhi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Raharuhi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Fighter thows a left - swing and a miss! Fighter misses the jab. Fighter missing with a left hand there. Raharuhi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Raharuhi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Raharuhi lands with a cross. Raharuhi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fighter cracks the inside of Raharuhi's front leg. Raharuhi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A solid leg kick lands there for Raharuhi.
Raharuhi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Raharuhi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Raharuhi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fighter slips under a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Street Fighter showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Runnisto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fighters circle momentarily. Runnisto darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Runnisto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Runnisto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Runnisto scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Runnisto throws a head kick but Pendragon moves out of range.

Runnisto connects with a body shot that sends Pendragon's belly button to the back. Pendragon tries a low kick but Runnisto avoids it. Runnisto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Pendragon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that's the end of the fight! Iikka Runnisto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Runnisto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dall connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Cadman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cadman misses with a body shot.
Dall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cadman counters with a left to the body. Cadman slips a straight right by Dall. Cadman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Dall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cadman 's hands. Cadman gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Cayden Cadman has been cut. Cadman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Cadman throws a leg kick and Dall counters with a stiff right hand.
Cadman is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cadman switches off momentarily and Dall cracks him with a monster right hand! Cadman topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Dall dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Dall!
