The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smithy ducks right into an uppercut from Pandu. Pandu tries to clinch but Smithy moves out of range. Pandu tries to close the distance and clinch but Smithy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pandu has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Smithy is landing a low percentage of strikes. Pandu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Panca Pandu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pandu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pandu tries to clinch up but Smithy circles away and keeps his distance. Smithy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pandu circles away. Sloppy strikes from Smithy. Those never looked like landing. Pandu lands a high kick!

Pandu has Smithy pulled in close to control his posture. Pandu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pandu has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Smithy off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Pandu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Oh Smithy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pandu rushes Smithy and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Smithy is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Pandu piles on the pressure and Smithy crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Brown cracks Ueno with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Ueno misses with a kick to the body and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ueno throws a low kick, looking for Brown's leg but Brown calmly moves out of range. Brown blocks a low kick nicely. Ueno throws a lazy head kick and Brown counters with a straight right hand. Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
It looked like Brown was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ueno. Brown circles away from the clinch attempt and Brown counters with a nice double leg into guard. Brown sitting in guard, not really doing much. Brown passes Ueno's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Brown sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Ueno tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ueno tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Ueno throws a front kick aimed at Brown's knee but Brown avoids it well. Brown appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Ueno throws a wild body kick that Brown sees coming a mile off. Ueno throws a nice head kick!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahesa shoots in and bounces Perry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Perry kicks Mahesa off and gets to his feet. Perry looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Mahesa gets a takedown into half guard. Mahesa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mahesa is working for a kimura but Perry is defending it quite comfortably.
Perry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mahesa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mahesa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Perry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mahesa. Mahesa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Perry is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahesa lands strikes from half guard. Perry is still in real trouble! Can Mahesa finish him? Mahesa lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Perry quite badly. Perry pulls Mahesa in close trying to recover. Mahesa postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Perry on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Perry doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Wayne wants to pass the guard but Danis is keeping the position. Wayne showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Danis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wayne manages to get himself to full guard.

Wayne wants to control from the top but Danis keeps moving. Wayne looking to pass the guard. Danis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wayne is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Danis trying to control the position but Wayne manages to sink in the hooks. I would not like to be Danis right now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wayne working a defensive guard but Danis manages to pass into side control anyway.
Wayne gets back to half guard. Damian Wayne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Danis is looking to advance position but Wayne won't allow it.

Farrokhzad feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Diaz sprawling to the canvas! Diaz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Farrokhzad finish him?!
Diaz is rocked! It looks like Frank Diaz has been cut. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diaz is defended easily by Farrokhzad. Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Diaz drops his hands momentarily. Farrokhzad doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Diaz staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Diaz doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
