With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pablo Diamante! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Canel. Canel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. An inside leg kick from Canel misses. Canel lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Canel connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diamante is defended easily by Canel. Canel digs a good body shot into Diamante's ribs. Canel throws a leg kick but Diamante checks it. Diamante doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Canel throws a leg kick but Diamante sees it coming and checks it nicely. Canel lands a jab. Diamante fails to land the takedown. Canel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Canel connects with the punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Canel catches Diamante with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Canel rushes Diamante and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canel lands a right hand. Canel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Diamante backwards. Diamante takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Pablo Diamante has been cut. Canel lands a shoulder strike. A nice left hand lands by Canel.

Diamante wants to take the fight to the mat but Canel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Maikel Canel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Diamante. Canel throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Diamante blocks it with crossed arms. A nice right hand lands inside from Canel. Canel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Diamante or perhaps it was just good defense by Canel, which made it look bad. Diamante looks winded! Canel lands with a hook. Diamante tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Canel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Canel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diamante's head backwards. It looks like Canel has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Canel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diamante. Good work by Diamante as he checks the leg kick. Jab from Canel.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diamante takes one on the button. A solid leg kick lands there for Canel.
Canel moves into the clinch. Canel stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Canel throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Diamantes head. Canel lands with a light punch inside. Canel lands a hook to the side of the head. Canel scores with a shoulder strike. Diamante takes an elbow to the forehead. Canel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Canel gets through Diamante's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Diamante has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Canel after a bit of a struggle. Canel manages to break the clinch.
Diamante misses with an uppercut. Canel lunges at Diamante with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diamante's hand. Nice straight punches there by Canel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Canel. Diamante on the wrong end of a nice jab. Diamante walks into a left hand. Canel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Canel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Canel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Diamante moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Canel moves into range and clinches up with Diamante. Canel stalling.
Diamante tries to score a body lock takedown but Canel shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Canel stalling the fight.
Canel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice straight punches there by Canel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Canel. A chopping leg kick lands by Canel. Canel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Canel makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Canel lands with a right to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Canel scores with an uppercut up the middle. Canel working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Canel lands with a short head shot on the inside. Canel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Diamante is defending well for now. Diamante tries for a takedown. No joy.
Canel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Canel thuds a left hand into Diamante's body. Canel lands with a straight right. Diamante didn't see that one coming. Diamante blocks a leg kick. Canel stuffs the takedown attempt from Diamante. Diamante gets slowly back to his feet. A head kick misses from Canel. Diamante fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Canel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Canel wants it to stay on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Canel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Canel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diamante on the side of the head. Canel clinches up with Diamante and pushes him back against the cage. Come on Canel - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Maikel Canel dominated that round. The cut man is working on Pablo Diamante's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Canel tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Diamante takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Canel darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Maikel Canel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Canel closes the distance and clinches. Diamante tries for a takedown but Canel manages to get underhooks.
Canel lands with a light punch inside. Canel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Canel clinches. Canel lands a right hand that snaps the head of Diamante backwards. Diamante drops down looking for an ankle pick but Canel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Canel moves into the clinch successfully.
Canel using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Diamante has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Maikel Canel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Diamante. Diamante is breathing heavily. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Canel creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. That has opened up Pablo Diamante's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Canel lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canel lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Diamante is rocked! Canel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Maikel Canel is winning the standup battle so far. Canel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diamante on the side of the head. Canel dips to his left and cracks Diamante with an uppercut! Diamante is still on wobbly legs! Can Canel finish him? Good leg kick by Canel. Diamante seems to have recovered his senses. Canel gets in close and instigates a clinch. A fake to the body and Canel gets the Thai clinch. He wastes no time and tries to connect with knees to the head. This is dangerous for Diamante! He should get out! Another devastating knee and Diamante falls head first to the ground. It's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Maikel Canel! A less than humble Maikel Canel misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, African King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Adderley! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Adderley lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Adderley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adderley to score with a decent uppercut. King is looking to clinch. Adderley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. King tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Adderley defends well and King ends up having to push Adderley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. King jumps guard but Adderley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A head punch on the inside from King fails to land. King tries to pull guard but Adderley forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for African King. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for King. A short left from Adderley. King throws a punch but it's blocked by Adderley. King jumps guard.
Adderley with a flurry of punches that miss. Adderley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Adderley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. King is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adderley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Adderley won't allow King to sweep him here. Adderley wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position. King is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Adderley is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adderley trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Adderley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Adderley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. King throws his legs up looking for a submission but Adderley uses it to pass to side control.
Adderley is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down King's shoulder. That is not cool. King is trying to improve his position. King prevents Adderley from moving into mount. King avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Adderley. King can't do much from the bottom here. Adderley wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working. King tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Adderley presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. King sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Adderley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. King missing with punches from the bottom.
King actively working from the bottom here. King won't allow Adderley to pass to mount. Adderley prevents King from improving his position. Adderley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Adderley wants to take a breather but King is having none of it. King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Adderley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Adderley's back! King is persistently looking for the submission but Adderley is defending it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King working for the choke. Adderley wants to escape the position.
King seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Adderley is trying to get back to his feet but King has full control of the position and if anything, Adderley has just worked his way into a worse spot. King doesn't have the hooks in and Adderley manages to turn into his guard.
King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Adderley defends it easily. Adderley wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. King throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Adderley escapes and throws King's legs to the side, diving into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King is looking to regain half guard here but Adderley keeps moving and retains side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dexter Adderley dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sloppy strikes from Adderley. Those never looked like landing. Adderley cracks King with a right hand to the side of the head. King is looking to clinch but Adderley is avoiding it.
Adderley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Adderley lands with a good body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from King. Adderley does a little dance to reset his feet. Adderley throws a wild body kick that King sees coming a mile off. Adderley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from King. Adderley looks like he wants to counter punch here. King tries a low kick but Adderley avoids it. A slapping leg kick lands for Adderley.
Adderley has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as King is landing a low percentage of strikes. Adderley throws a body kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adderley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. King thows a left - swing and a miss! King fails with an attempt to clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good standup being displayed there by Adderley as he connects with a hook. Adderley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

King is rocked! It looks like African King has been cut. King on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Adderley lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Adderley lands a big head kick that sends King to the canvas! Adderley follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rambo circles away quickly and effectively. Rambo follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

enabling McDrippy to counter with a crisp jab. Banks is rocked! McDrippy closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Banks out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

and Homo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Homo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Homo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Donegan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Homo scrambles back to his feet. It looks like Ecce Homo has been cut. Homo moves out of range as Donegan strikes. Donegan swats away the attempt to clinch by Homo. Donegan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Donegan looks to throw the jab but Homo is out of range. Homo flicks out a counter leg kick but Donegan steps away. Donegan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Homo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Homo dips to his left and cracks Donegan with an uppercut! Homo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Roger with that takedown attempt. Roger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Veena was covering up waiting for the punch and Roger finishes the takedown easily into guard. Roger stops Veena from standing up. Roger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Veena wants to stand but Roger is controlling the position. Roger stands and throws Veena's legs to the side, diving into side control. We've been hearing that Roger has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Roger is trying to get an arm triangle but Veena is defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Veena can do anything to dispel that myth. Roger is working to tighten his grip on Veena's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Veena has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Roger is really squeezing tight and eventually Veena passes out! Roger breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huhrera misses with a takedown and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jackson throws a body shot but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson working some nice short punches in the clinch. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Oh Huhrera is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Huhrera wants to hit a sweep here but Jackson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Huhrera there! Huhrera is working to get back to half guard.
Huhrera seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Huhrera covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
