Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Coral Sea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Hokuto Akira! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Sea - just one landing. Sea misses with an uppercut
and Akira makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sea bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sea shoots in and drives through. Akira sprawls well. A little jabbing left from Akira on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sea closes this distance looking for a takedown but Akira circles away. Akira misses with a hook. A little feinted left hand from Sea on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Sea misses with a hook

Sea looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Akira finish him?

Abel has chosen Express Yourself as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

DeSilva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stein drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Stein throws a fast counter high kick but DeSilva manages to duck under it in time. DeSilva tests Stein's chin there with a solid looking shot. DeSilva pushing out the jab but it's not landing. DeSilva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stein. Stein looks like he wants to counter punch here. DeSilva does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. DeSilva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Stein might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, DeSilva has got the better of the exchanges.
