The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yonenaga drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Yonenaga looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Forza manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Forza is trying to control. Yonenaga wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Forza is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yonenaga is just riding it out for now. Forza eventually gives up the hold.

Forza is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Yonenaga defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Forza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yonenaga is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
