With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Silver!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armando's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silver under the eye.
Armando definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Silver misses with a left hand
letting Armando counter with a right hand.
Armando darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Silver takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silver tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Armando counter with a right hand.
Armando lands a nice shot to the body.
Armando connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Silver takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Armando connects with a body shot that sends Silver's belly button to the back.
Silver throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It looked like Armando wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Silver takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Armando lands a jab to the nose.

Armando feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silver sprawling to the canvas! Silver rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Armando finish him?!
Silver is rocked!
Armando throws an overhand right that drops Silver like a sack of potatoes! Armando dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Armando!

Nguyen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nguyen wants it to stay on the feet.
Nguyen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Daddy's hands.
Nguyen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nguyen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Daddy's head.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Nguyen! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Troy Nguyen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rai swats away the attempt to clinch by Romero.
Rai throws an overhand right that lands on Romero's shoulder, as Romero tries to avoid the shot.
Romero fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown attempt by Romero or perhaps it was just good defense by Rai, which made it look bad.
Rai sizes up Romero with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rai throws a big shot that misses.
Romero gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rai.
It looks like T. J. Romero has been cut.
Rai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rai moves out of range of the strikes.
Rai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Romero fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Agansing Rai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of T. J. Romero.

Romero keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rai.
Romero throws a big counter head kick but Rai avoids it with no problem.

Romero has Rai up against the cage in a clinch.

Rai manages to break the clinch.
Romero tries for a takedown but Rai circles away easily
and Rai scores with a counter punch that sends Romero to the canvas! Rai smells blood - he's punishing Romero with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Romero has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Voorheis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harms is trying to defend but Voorheis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Harms is trying to control but can't.
Voorheis prevents Harms from improving his position.
Ground and pound from Voorheis.
Harms told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Voorheis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Voorheis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Voorheis connects with a nice short shot to Harms's temple.
Voorheis is stalling here. Harms is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Voorheis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Harms has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Voorheis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Harms is looking to take a break and control but Voorheis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Voorheis tries to roll over but Harms keeps him under control.
Harms keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Voorheis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harms looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Harms is trying to control Voorheis's posture but Voorheis avoids it.
Voorheis lands a decent elbow from side control.
Harms is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Voorheis off and has taken his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Harms has got his arm under Voorheis's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Voorheis has spun round into Harms's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Voorheis works over Harms with some ground and pound from guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Derk Voorheis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Harms is trying hard to land a takedown here. Voorheis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
