Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 20 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 35 - 31 - 1, fighting out of New York, Juanito Cortez! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cortez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Glass throws out the jab. Glass throws a body punch but Cortez moves out of range. Cortez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Cortez throws a big shot that misses. Glass stuns Cortez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Cortez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Glass scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The fighters circling - Glass throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cortez looks to land a left hand but Glass moved out of range nicely. Glass blocks a jab. Cortez throws a lazy uppercut
and Glass counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Cortez throws a solid leg kick but Glass takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cortez. Some bone on bone action there as Glass checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cortez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Glass connects with a body shot. Glass lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Juanito Cortez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cortez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A quick step to the side and Glass tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Glass is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Cortez moves forwards but Glass connects with a nice, crisp jab. Cortez drops his hands momentarily and Glass needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Cortez just on the top of the head. Cortez drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Cortez - he's done!

A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Desmond Glass made sure he mentioned KOMBAT KLOTHING, along with how happy he was to win his fight. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Von Hayek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Krawlee tries to free his leg and advance position but Von Hayek is retaining full guard. Von Hayek has his foot on Krawlee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krawlee works his way back into a safe position though. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Krawlee has hold of Von Hayek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Von Hayek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
