Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Randleman (ranked 540 p4p, 732 weight class) and David King (ranked 82 p4p, 111 weight class). Randleman comes into the arena with Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch blaring out of the sound system. King comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Manchester United Chants George Best Song Spirit In The Sky kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stardust has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Minister finds it's way round the side to connect with Stardust's head.
Stardust looks to land a left hand but Minister moved out of range nicely.
Stardust fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Stardust throws a hook to the side of Minister's head but Minister sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big left from Stardust misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Minister. Stardust does a little dance to reset his feet.
Minister scores with a nice head shot.
Minister moves away from the strike by Stardust.
Stardust lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Stardust counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We've been told by Stardust's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stardust bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big right from Minister misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stardust misses the jab.
Minister takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Minister throws a poor cross that misses
and Stardust counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Minister is rocked!

Stardust cracks Minister with an uppercut from hell and Minister crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Stardust's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Minister is still in real trouble! Can Stardust finish him?

Stardust stands up from guard. Let's bang!
A swing and a miss from Minister.
Minister throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stardust looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
That kick from Stardust tenderised Minister's leg. Minister is trying to keep his angry face on.
Stardust throws a series of punches but Minister avoids them all with ease.
Stardust steps in with a hook that catches Minister right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Stardust follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Minister looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ziggy Stardust!

Sitsongrit bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Branko shoots and misses
and Sitsongrit counters with an inside leg kick.
Branko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sitsongrit but Sitsongrit pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sitsongrit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sitsongrit wants it to stay on the feet.
Petchuanglek Sitsongrit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davdio Branko.
Branko fails with a takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sitsongrit.
Branko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sitsongrit cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Davdio Branko has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Sitsongrit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

I was talking to Sitsongrit's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Branko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sitsongrit fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Branko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sitsongrit has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Branko off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sitsongrit lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sitsongrit lands with an uppercut that bounces Branko off the cage and back into range.

Branko wants to work for an arm triangle but Sitsongrit is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sitsongrit is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Branko presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Sitsongrit lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Branko drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Branko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sitsongrit prevents it.

Branko shoots in looking for a takedown. Sitsongrit tries to sprawl out of it but Branko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sitsongrit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sitsongrit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Branko is looking for a triangle but Sitsongrit pushes his legs off easily.

Sitsongrit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Branko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sitsongrit has managed to get both his arms back between Branko's legs - danger averted.
Sitsongrit is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Branko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sitsongrit is one step ahead there.
Sitsongrit not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Branko wants to sweep here but Sitsongrit controlling him for the moment.

Sitsongrit is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Branko can do to turn this around?
Sitsongrit lands a nice leg kick that just misses Branko's sensitive parts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Branko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sitsongrit's waist but Sitsongrit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Branko off to one side.

and Sitsongrit counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Branko! He's just covering up as Sitsongrit starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
