The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger avoids the body shot from Smiff.
Smiff looks to throw the jab but Jaeger is out of range.
Smiff tries to score with a low kick but Jaeger moves his leg out of the way.
Smiff throws a looping overhand right but Jaeger ducks down to avoid it.
Smiff swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jaeger.
Jaeger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Smiff checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jaeger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Smiff sizes up Jaeger with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
