These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlov bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Orlov scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Seelow Heights has been cut. Orlov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Solis Gym in the buildup to the fight. Orlov misses with the combination.
Orlov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Heights throws a counter combo. A head kick misses from Orlov. Orlov swings away with a leg kick that misses. Heights changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Orlov dips to his left and cracks Heights with an uppercut! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kuwabara has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Stark is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kuwabara sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stark looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taneyev is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stalinovich lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Taneyev wants to clinch but Stalinovich slips to the side and Stalinovich counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stalinovich takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Taneyev misses with a shot to the body and Stalinovich counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. and Stalinovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Taneyev looks to score with a jab to the body but Stalinovich is just out of range. Stalinovich swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Taneyev throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stalinovich counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A head kick by Taneyev misses and Stalinovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Taneyev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
