The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izuku digs a good body shot into Smif's ribs.
We've been told by Smif's head coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Izuku misses with a combination
and Smif counters with a thumping low kick.
Izuku throws a hook to the side of Smif's head but Smif sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smif takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
 It looks like Will Smif has been cut.
Smif throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Izuku stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Izuku lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Smif counters with a head kick that drops Izuku to the mat! Izuku scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Smif counters with a crisp right hand that drops Izuku! Smif lets Izuku back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Izuku moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Izuku takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Smif has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smif there as he acknowledges the shot.
Izuku throws a series of punches but Smif avoids them all with ease.
Izuku swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smif fires out a quick counter leg kick but Izuku just manages to avoid it.
Smif looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Smif backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Izuku's temple! It sends Izuku violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Smif celebrates and the doctors try to help Izuku!

A relieved looking Will Smif thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Luis Naranja comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Naranja has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
