Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chan Siam (ranked 623 p4p, 1972 weight class) and Action Bastard (ranked 71 p4p, 206 weight class). Bastard has chosen Japanese And Lovely - Jucifer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Bastard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bastard throws a jab when Siam was well out of range.
Siam thinks about countering with a body kick.

Bastard tests Siam's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bastard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Siam lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Siam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Byczkiewicz misses with a straight left.
Byczkiewicz throws a body punch but Stark moves out of range.
Stark changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Byczkiewicz tries to avoid it but Stark manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Byczkiewicz to the ground. Byczkiewicz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stark shoots in looking for a takedown. Byczkiewicz tries to sprawl out of it but Stark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Byczkiewicz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Stark counters with a single leg into guard. Byczkiewicz didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Byczkiewicz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stark has hold of Byczkiewicz's hands but Byczkiewicz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Byczkiewicz connects with a nice short shot to Stark's temple.

Byczkiewicz controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Stark is out! Byczkiewicz gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
