With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Bidden! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donovan catches Bidden with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Donovan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. It looks like Joe Bidden has been cut. Donovan gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bidden. Donovan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bidden pulls him back up using the underhooks. We've been hearing reports that Donovan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bidden fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Donovan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Biddens head. A short left from Bidden. It looks like Dan Donovan has been cut. Bidden's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bidden lands a hook to the side of the head. Bidden misses with a short punch on the inside. Bidden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. No joy there for Donovan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bidden throws a leg kick which misses Donovan's front leg but catches the back leg as Donovan tries to avoid it. Bidden swats away the attempt to clinch by Donovan. Donovan drops Bidden with a beautiful combination! Bidden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Donovan is looking for the KO!

and Bidden counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Joe Bidden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bidden scores with a hook. Donovan lands a big uppercut and Bidden crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bidden looks OK. Donovan waves Bidden back to his feet! Bidden is rocked! Donovan cracks Bidden with a left hook right on the temple and Bidden goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Donovan lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bidden is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dan Donovan! A less than humble Dan Donovan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frewin throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Vyr to counter with a crisp jab. Frewin looks to land a combination but Vyr avoids it well. Vyr throws a series of punches but Frewin avoids them all with ease. Vyr with a body punch. A glancing blow. Frewin throws a looping overhand right but Vyr ducks down to avoid it. Vyr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Frewin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vyr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vyr throws a series of punches but Frewin moves out of range. Vyr throws a right hand that misses
and Frewin counters with a slapping leg kick. Frewin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vyr throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frewin throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Frewin slips a jab from Vyr. Vyr throws an off balance right hand
and Frewin counters with a nice right hand that sends Vyr toppling to the canvas! Vyr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Frewin finish him?! Vyr is rocked! Vyr misses with a body punch
and Frewin rattles Vyr with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Vyr tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Frewin dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Vyr stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Butch Frewin! A very excited looking Butch Frewin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Perkele wants to clinch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cole! But no joy. Cole with a nice calf kick. A head kick misses from Cole. Perkele was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Perkele takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. It looks like Ispa Perkele has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cole uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Perkele.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole walks into a left hand. Perkele throws a hook but Cole avoids it easily. Perkele throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Perkele counters with a nice body shot. Cole on the wrong end of a nice jab. Perkele is looking to land body kicks. Cole takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Perkele misses with a kick to the body.
Despite the aggression on Cole's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Perkele lands a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole moves away from the strike by Perkele. Ispa Perkele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perkele has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Perkele there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Perkele is looking to slow Cole down with leg kicks. Cole misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perkele feinted there with a counter leg kick. Perkele looks to land a body kick but Cole moved away. Cole is looking for the big counter here. Decent striking displayed by Perkele there. A slapping body kick lands there for Perkele. Perkele is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perkele scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cole in his tracks. Cole is rocked! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ispa Perkele dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ispa Perkele's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Cole swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Perkele counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cole's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Perkele connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cole scrambles back to his feet. Cole is still on wobbly legs! Can Perkele finish him? Perkele fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cole to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cole looks to clinch but Perkele throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cole taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Ispa Perkele thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
