Ragnaar looks to throw the jab but Nakamura is out of range. Nakamura jabs Ragnaar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ragnaar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Ragnaar feints and then cracks Nakamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nakamura down. Ragnaar looks to land a right hand but Nakamura moved out of range. That was a close round but I would say that Biabas Kitjakarn will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Benson Bonanza's cut. That's the end of the interval. Bonanza looks to land a body kick but Kitjakarn moved away. Bonanza fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kitjakarn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. and Kitjakarn counters with a nice kick to the body. The crowd cheers as Bonanza lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kitjakarn doesn't seem phased though. Kitjakarn is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Bonanza dives in for a single leg takedown but Kitjakarn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kitjakarn is looking to counter with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonanza takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Kitjakarn is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bonanza is breathing heavily. Kitjakarn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bonanza is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kitjakarn rather than just go for the knockout. This has been an exciting period of action! Kitjakarn misses with a kick to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kvinchal shoots in for a double leg but Big Mouth sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Big Mouth let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Big Mouth gets caught flat footed, as Kvinchal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kvinchal passes Big Mouth's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kvinchal is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Big Mouth is looking for a sweep. Kvinchal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kvinchal passes into side control, despite Big Mouth's attempt to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Big Mouth is looking to regain half guard here but Kvinchal keeps moving and retains side control. Big Mouth is not content to let Kvinchal control the position.

Kvinchal can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Big Mouth is looking to escape. Big Mouth wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kvinchal.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kvinchal or perhaps it was just good defense by Big Mouth, which made it look bad. Kvinchal tries for a takedown but Big Mouth circles away easily and Big Mouth counters with a nice uppercut. Kvinchal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Big Mouth counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kvinchal's knee momentarily. Frewin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Frewin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. It looks like Haise Sasaki has been cut. Frewin cracks Sasaki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frewin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sasaki to stand back up! Sasaki is rocked! Sasaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frewin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Oh Sasaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Frewin cracks Sasaki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Frewin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sasaki to stand back up! Haise Sasaki 's cut is getting worse. Sasaki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Frewin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sasaki digs a good body shot into Frewin's ribs. Sasaki takes a swing at Frewin's ribcage but misses. Sasaki backing away here, and Frewin unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Nice body punch from Sasaki . Frewin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Edmond misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Edmond takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Torsten cracks Edmond on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Edmond falls backwards against the cage. Torsten follows up with more strikes that drop Edmond to his knees. Torsten keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Edmond! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baldur Torsten! After winning the bout, Baldur Torsten thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
