The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wayz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wayz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee asks Wayz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wayz prefers to stall for the moment though.
Wayz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Karter for as long as he can get away with.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Robertson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Robertson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Robertson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Robertson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
