Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Colt! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jackson misses with a hook
and Colt counters with a left to the body. A clash of legs there as Colt blocks the low kick. Colt scores with the left hand. Jackson knows he should have avoided that one. Colt moves out of range as Jackson strikes. Colt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nick Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Colt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Colt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Colt checks a leg kick nicely. Colt lands with an overhand left. Colt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jackson throws a hook but Colt avoids it easily.

Colt tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jackson connects with a jab. Colt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Colt is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Colt lands a slapping body shot.

Jackson misses with a looping left. Jackson thows a leg kick but Colt checks it and Colt counters with a two punch combo. Jackson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jackson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson misses with a straight right. Colt lands a jab-cross combination. A jab from Colt finds it's way through Jackson's defenses. Colt is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Colt.

And Colt responds with a good body kick, but Jackson manages to step out the way in time. Jackson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target. A little jabbing left from Colt on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jackson misses the shot to the body. Jackson throws a leg kick but Colt moved away. Colt only half commits to the counter leg kick. Colt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Colt misses with an uppercut. Jackson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Colt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though. Jackson throws the left hand but Colt avoids the punch easily. Henry Colt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Colt manages to avoid it. Colt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Colt scores with a punch to the head. Colt throws a head kick that misses. Colt lands a nice looking body shot.

Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Colt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet. Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Colt's head backwards. Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Colt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jackson throws a big shot that misses. Jackson throws a chopping leg kick but Colt manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Colt uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Colt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Colt ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jackson throws a lazy uppercut

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson walks into a left hand. Jackson misses with a right hand and Colt finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Jackson throws a body kick, spinning off balance letting Colt counter with a right hand. Colt defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Colt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jackson. Colt connects with an inside leg kick. Jackson looks to throw the jab but Colt is out of range. Jackson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Colt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jackson defending well as Colt loads up on a big left hand. Colt appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and Colt counters with a nice body shot. Jackson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Jackson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Colt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Colt on the wrong end of a nice hook. Colt throws a push kick but Jackson slaps the foot to one side. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jackson might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Colt misses with a few strikes there.

And that's the end of the fight! Henry Colt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Colt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Maia works a leg free and moves into half guard. Trosta tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Maia manages to move to mount!

Trosta refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Trosta's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Easy Ee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Haze counters with a slapping leg kick. Haze manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ee on his heels. He'll look to pass Ee's guard now, I'm sure. Haze postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Haze slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Haze landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haze goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
