Ruud Altena grew up watching fight videos of his idol, Ernesto Hoost, and dreamed of joining Vos Gym to train alongside his hero. He was given the opportunity, but was removed from the gym for harassing the K1 legend for autographs and stealing a sweaty pair of hand wraps. When Ernesto offered to rearrange his face, Ruud fled the Netherlands for Montreal to resume training. He signs his own autographs now (even though nobody asked for one) and you will bloody well take it. |
