With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Pauschi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eomer Greydorian! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greydorian takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Greydorian fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pauschi sprawls well initially but Greydorian persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Greydorian not landing any meaningful shots this time. Greydorian throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pauschi's coaches at BronkĀ“s GYM have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Eomer Greydorian very nearly forgot to thank Neon Zombie amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Martins Verdins! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arkinson throws a right and a left that Verdins avoids nicely. Arkinson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Verdins under the eye. Arkinson throws a series of punches but Verdins avoids them all with ease. Verdins is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Arkinson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Arkinson misses with an uppercut. Verdins saw that one coming. Verdins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arkinson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Arkinson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Arkinson cracks Verdins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Arkinson throws out a powerful jab. Verdins with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Arkinson to score with a decent uppercut. Verdins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Arkinson finds it's way through Verdins's defenses. Verdins looks winded! Arkinson throws a right and a left that Verdins avoids nicely. Arkinson works Verdins's body with a nice hook. Arkinson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Arkinson cracks Verdins with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Verdins falls to his knees and Arkinson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Misawa throws a body shot but no joy. Misawa drives through and clinches with Kulina against the cage.

I was talking to Misawa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Misawa is defending well against a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bridger on the wrong end of a nice hook. A big left from Hanma misses. Bridger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hanma avoids the body shot from Bridger.
