The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercenary misses with an uppercut. Keane slips under a jab from Mercenary. Mercenary misses with a straight right. Keane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mercenary can pounce on him.
Keane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Keane defending well as Mercenary loads up on a big left hand. Keane swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Mercenary does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Mercenary dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Keane just misses with a punch to the body.
Mercenary cracks Keane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mercenary throws a leg kick which misses Keane's front leg but catches the back leg as Keane tries to avoid it. Biscuit has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ship to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Biscuit is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ship pulls down on the head and he's put Biscuit to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws out a loose jab but Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid it. Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is defending well. We've been hearing good reports from Sanchez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Sanchez moves into full guard.

Damn, Kuronoa is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
