Con lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Jones looks to land a right hand but Con moved out of range. Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Con finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Con. Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Con momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mason Jones. I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision. Judge Shigeki Fujiwara scores the fight 48:48 Judge Ren Mimura scores the fight 49:48 Judge Kenichi Hosakawa scores the fight 49:47
In favor of your winner, by majority decision... Mason Jones! Mason Jones retains his welterweight title! Mason Jones looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Chin. Power.'.
