We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kurri has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Zima Voin has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tragedy.

Voin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tragedy regains guard.
Voin tries to free his leg and advance position but Tragedy is retaining full guard.
Tragedy is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Voin dives into side control.
Tragedy is trying to buck Voin off.
Voin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
We've been hearing good reports from Voin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Unbelivable is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shavers is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Unbelivable thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
What's Shavers going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Unbelivable has hold of Shavers's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shavers tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Unbelivable cranks the arm and Shavers screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shavers, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simone misses with an uppercut. Peterson saw that one coming.

Simone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
