Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Gay G might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Storm has got the better of the exchanges.

This has been an exciting period of action! Storm moves away from the strike by Gay G. Gay G takes one to the chin there. Nice defenses there by Storm. Storm lands with a nice combination. Gay G backs away looking to recover. Storm lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Gay G is rocked! Gay G takes a shot right to the bread basket. Gay G is still on wobbly legs! Can Storm finish him? Storm uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gay G.
A quick step to the side and Storm tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. A punch lands to the side of Gay G 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lincoln Storm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gay G takes a shot right to the bread basket. Gay G takes a body punch but keeps moving. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Storm, as that shot connected.
Storm lands with a nice body punch. J Gay G has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A solid leg kick lands there for Storm.
Gay G gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Storm gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byczkiewicz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The fighters circling - Byczkiewicz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gunner closes the distance and pushes Byczkiewicz back into the cage. Gunner told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Gunner looks to throw an elbow but misses. Gunner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Byczkiewicz backwards. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Byczkiewicz can't find room to land a body shot as Gunner controls the action.
Gunner lands a nice elbow from the clinch. It looks like Blazej Byczkiewicz has been cut. Byczkiewicz prevents a body shot from Gunner. Byczkiewicz misses with a hook from the clinch. Gunner tries to clinch but Byczkiewicz moves away and Byczkiewicz counters with a stiff right hand. Gunner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Byczkiewicz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Byczkiewicz throws an overhand right that lands on Gunner's shoulder, as Gunner tries to avoid the shot. Gunner lands a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Byczkiewicz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gunner doesn't seem bothered though. Gunner scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Byczkiewicz cracks Gunner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gunner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Byczkiewicz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gunner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A relieved looking Blazej Byczkiewicz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
