With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erron Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ovine Thibodeaux! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black with a nice calf kick. Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. It looks like Ovine Thibodeaux has been cut. Thibodeaux connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Black slips a straight right by Thibodeaux. Black lands a leg kick that knocks Thibodeaux off balance momentarily. Black doesn't manage to clinch there - Thibodeaux circles away.

Thibodeaux should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thibodeaux misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thibodeaux misses with a straight left. Black uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thibodeaux. Black really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Thibodeaux throws a lazy right hand but Black sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Thibodeaux lands a jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thibodeaux throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it. A head kick misses from Black. Thibodeaux chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Black can pounce on him.

A nice side step and Thibodeaux releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Black takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Thibodeaux throws a looping overhand right but Black ducks down to avoid it. Black throws a head kick that Thibodeaux semi-blocks.
Thibodeaux throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A slow jab from Thibodeaux misses its intended target. Black thinks about countering with a head kick. Black slips a jab from Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Black. Black slips a straight right by Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thibodeaux throws a hook but Black blocks it. He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? and Thibodeaux counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Thibodeaux has eaten all the pies! Thibodeaux misses with a knee strike.
Black working hard to break the clinch. Black tries to circle away but Thibodeaux has him pinned against the ropes. Thibodeaux lands with a short head shot on the inside. Black tries to break the clinch but Thibodeaux is controlling the position. Thibodeaux breaks from the clinch.
Black scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Thibodeaux beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout. Thibodeaux throws an overhand right that lands on Black's shoulder, as Black tries to avoid the shot. It looked like Black was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Thibodeaux blocks a head kick by Black.
Thibodeaux might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Good standup being displayed there by Black as he connects with a hook. Black walks into a left hand. Black connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Thibodeaux onto his butt! Thibodeaux bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action. Thibodeaux misses with a double jab.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akakpo walks into a left hand. Jab, jab by Osei - just one landing. A jab lands there for Osei. Osei throws a jab but it's blocked by Akakpo. Akakpo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Osei moves into range and connects with a jab. Osei lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Osei misses with an uppercut. Akakpo saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Akakpo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Simba Osei. Well Osei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
