The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronte bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Bronte is looking to take a break and control but De Leon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Leon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bronte wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Leon, who protects the arm well.

It looks like Andre Koefti has been cut.
Temidare lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Koefti throws a looping overhand right but Temidare ducks down to avoid it.
Koefti moves out of range as Temidare throws a body kick.
Temidare just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKoefti.

Koefti walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Koefti limp body while Temidare jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
