Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

It looks like Jugo Fury has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Von Stroheim darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Fury's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Von Stroheim before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonas Von Stroheim! Jonas Von Stroheim really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Silverguard Outfitters 🛡 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. Jugo Fury was interviewed post fight and said 'The Cage Matting was so slippery, shit happens but that's what it is'.

Constantinou cracks Griffin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Nice takedown defense from Constantinou. No joy for Griffin on that attempt. Griffin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Constantinou. It looks like Matthew Griffin has been cut. Griffin's coach down at Gumburcules Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Griffin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Harklie misses with a takedown attempt and Ro counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harklie thinking. We've been told by Ro's head coaches at Patskun tappelukoulu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Harklie shoots in but Ro avoids the takedown attempt easily. Harklie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ro counters with a nice uppercut. Pate Ro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grant Harklie. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Magnus Thorgard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bone Breaker! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorgard moves out of range of the body kick. Breaker looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Breaker on the wrong end of a nice hook. Breaker finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A punch combination from Thorgard misses. Breaker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Breaker does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Breaker has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Thorgard keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've been hearing reports that Thorgard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Breaker throws a push kick but Thorgard slaps the foot to one side. Thorgard throws a combination. Breaker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Thorgard thows a left - swing and a miss! Thorgard lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
