With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafa Peziev! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peziev drives through with a takedown into guard. Peziev scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Mizoguchi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Peziev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peziev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mizoguchi is looking to stand back up but Peziev counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mizoguchi. Peziev is thwarting Mizoguchi's attempts to control the position. Peziev is figuring out what he wants to do next. Peziev lands with a punch from half guard. Mizoguchi won't allow Peziev to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peziev has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mizoguchi defend it? Peziev steps over the head and cranks it - Mizoguchi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Peziev!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rafa Peziev! Rafa Peziev decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. Candice Mizoguchi spoke after the fight, saying 'Mission Failed, We'll get em next time.'.

With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Randy Graham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Smith misses. Smith connects with a body shot that sends Graham's belly button to the back. Graham walks into a stiff left hand from Smith. Graham gets in close and instigates a clinch. Smith fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Graham wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side and Graham takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Smith works Graham's body with a nice hook. Graham avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Graham takes one to the chin there. Graham keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Graham fails with the takedown. Graham shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. It seemed like Smith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Graham with a poor takedown and Smith counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Graham. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith with a nice calf kick. Graham shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Graham keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Graham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Graham blocks a head kick by Smith.
Bryant Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Smith darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Graham's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Smith before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halme tries to clinch up but Higgins circles away and keeps his distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A head kick by Halme misses and Higgins counters with a right hand to the body. Sloppy strikes from Halme. Those never looked like landing. Halme tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Higgins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Higgins digs a good hook to Halme's body.
Halme is breathing heavily. Higgins moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Halme goes down! Can Higgins finish him!? Halme is rocked! It looks like Tony Halme has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Higgins gets to his feet. Halme looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Oh Halme is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Halme is aggressively charging in as Higgins backs up avoiding any damage. Higgins tosses out a jab and Halme runs right into it face first! Halme is out cold! Higgins dropped down on all fours and is barking in Halme's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liam Higgins! Liam Higgins decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Tony Halme stepped up to the mic, saying 'just a bad dream.. no way I could lose.. Open your eyes.'.

We've been told by Colt's head coaches at Slaughterhouse that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Colt throws a body shot but no joy. Colt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roberto.
An attempted straight right counter from Colt misses the target. Roberto misses with a hook. Colt ducked under it nicely. Colt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Adeboye Temidare! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Temidare tries to close the distance and clinch up but La Croix swats him away and circles back towards the center. La Croix throwing a counter right hand but Temidare manages to avoid it. Temidare moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. La Croix on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. La Croix throws a hook but Temidare blocks it. A slow jab from La Croix misses its intended target. Temidare getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kos's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kos duly obliges. It looks like Jorgen Kruth has been cut. Kruth avoids the head kick by Kos.
