With a record of 0 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Andre Da Silva Barbosa! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Da Silva Barbosa. Those never looked like landing. Da Silva Barbosa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Spopovich gets in close and instigates a clinch. Spopovich is working for a takedown up against the cage. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alpha Zero! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy closes the distance and clinches. Boy creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Boy lands with a light punch inside. Zero is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Boy to keep the fight standing. Boy scores with a shoulder strike. Zero is looking to break free of the clinch but Boy has double underhooks. Boy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Zero has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Boy lands an uppercut. Boy tries to work over Zero's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Zero goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Boy creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zero's defenses. It looks like Alpha Zero has been cut. Boy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Boy wants to control from the top but Zero keeps moving. Boy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Boy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zero for as long as he can get away with. Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Zero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boy won't allow Zero to get back to his feet. Boy trying to control but Zero is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zero swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zero throws a series of punches but Boy moves out of range. Boy ducks under a wild hook from Zero. Zero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boy, pushing him back against the cage. Zero blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Boy will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. Boy lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Zero will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hasbulla Magomedov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mer Lo! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lo scores with a hook to the body. Magomedov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Magomedov eats them both and turns towards Lo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Lo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Magomedov momentarily.

Hasbulla Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magomedov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lo tries to buck Magomedov off but Magomedov is having none of it.
