The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tijhoff shoots in for a takedown but Zimmerman shows good takedown defense.
Tijhoff tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zimmerman defends well and Tijhoff ends up having to push Zimmerman into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zimmerman stalling in the clinch but Tijhoff improves position.

Tijhoff turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tijhoff manages to end up in side control.
Zimmerman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zimmerman is not content to let Tijhoff control the position.
A lull in the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tijhoff is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zimmerman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tijhoff is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tijhoff hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Klaas Jan Tijhoff really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Furnace Performance đŸ”¥ logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

It looked like Tucker was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Loyola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tucker moves away.

It looked like Tucker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Tucker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Loyola thinking.

A little feinted left hand from Tucker on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Loyola tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tucker was well out of range. Poor timing from Loyola.
