With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie McDermott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keaton Vega! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vega connects with a solid leg kick. Vega swings away with a leg kick that misses. McDermott throws a hook but Vega blocks it. A big right from McDermott misses. McDermott misses with a lunging right hand
and Vega cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Vega checks a low kick from McDermott. A decent looking cross lands there for Vega. Vega on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. McDermott misses with a straight left. Vega ducks under a wild hook from McDermott. McDermott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Vega fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. McDermott moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A head kick misses from McDermott. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McDermott misses with a left hand and Vega counters with a nice low kick that buckles McDermott's knee momentarily.

The fighters circling - Vega throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vega throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDermott. Keaton Vega dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Vega thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McDermott if he has to take too many more of those.

Vega moves into range and connects with a jab. McDermott throws an overhand right that lands on Vega's shoulder, as Vega tries to avoid the shot. McDermott moves away from the strike by Vega. McDermott pivots, looking for a leg kick but Vega is out of range and McDermott settles back down. McDermott tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Crazy Legs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Legs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cozad. Cozad scores with a jab to the body. Legs avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cozad throws a body punch but Legs moves out of range. Cozad jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cozad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Legs moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Legs misses with a jab to the body
and Cozad counters with a slapping leg kick. Cozad feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Legs sprawling to the canvas! Legs rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cozad finish him?!

Legs is rocked! That has opened up Crazy Legs's cut even more. Legs takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Legs is still on wobbly legs! Can Cozad finish him? Cozad misses with a wild body shot. Cozad flashes Legs a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Legs's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Legs crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Cozad punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

It looked like Mansour wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ebe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ebe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ebe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mansour uses from the top position. Mansour wants to get up but he can't break Ebe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

It seemed like Savisto was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Savisto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
