Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendrick Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dingy McBoatface! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McBoatface. McBoatface throws a lazy right hand but Sosa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sosa shoots in for a takedown but McBoatface shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sosa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McBoatface pinned against the cage. McBoatface gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McBoatface throws an overhand right that lands on Sosa's shoulder, as Sosa tries to avoid the shot. Sosa walks into a jab. It looks like Kendrick Sosa has been cut. Sosa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sosa pushes McBoatface up against the cage in a clinch. McBoatface's coach down at 23.5 Hour Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McBoatface's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sosa tries to score a body lock takedown but McBoatface shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendrick Sosa. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sosa displaying some good clinch control by pressing McBoatface up against the cage. McBoatface wants to break free but Sosa has control.

and McBoatface takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McBoatface looks to land a right hand but Sosa moved out of range. Dingy McBoatface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sosa closes the distance and clinches. A shot in the inside from Sosa.

and Sosa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. It looks like Dingy McBoatface has been cut. Sosa misses with a takedown attempt - McBoatface sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McBoatface ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sosa ducks under a wild hook from McBoatface. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McBoatface throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sosa on the side of the head. McBoatface misses with a straight right. McBoatface throws a jab but it's blocked by Sosa. Sosa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Some wild striking there from Sosa.
Sosa ducks under a wild hook from McBoatface. McBoatface cracks Sosa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kendrick Sosa's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. McBoatface takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McBoatface throws a jab but it's blocked by Sosa. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dingy McBoatface dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. McBoatface bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. McBoatface sends Sosa crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McBoatface is motioning to the referee to let Sosa up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Sosa is rocked! McBoatface weaves into range and cracks Sosa right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sosa goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! McBoatface is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Banks looking for submissions from an awkward position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colton slows the pace down in half guard. Banks wants to sweep but Colton has passed to side control!

That was a close round but I would say that Ripp Colton will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Banks uses from the top position. Colton keeping full guard, as Banks tries to pass. Colton is trying to control the position but Banks postures up. Banks showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Colton is looking for a triangle here but Banks uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banks looking for subs off his back but Colton has passed one foot through into half guard.

Honeysuckle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Flatendo. Flatendo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Honeysuckle is still on wobbly legs! Can Flatendo finish him? Flatendo ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Honeysuckle out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Demarcus Flatendo! Demarcus Flatendo really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Northern Zombie logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. Methuselah Honeysuckle was interviewed post fight and said 'A bump in the road, I'll be back better and hungrier!'.

Wagon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Momomoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wagon. Momomoto dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Momomoto lands a big right hand that sends Wagon crashing to the mat! Momomoto stays standing though and waves Wagon back to his feet! Wagon is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Momomoto Throws a clean left jab. Momomoto Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Wagon's chin! Wagon crumbles to the ground and Momomoto follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Momomoto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stukov closes the distance and lands a one-two. Stukov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kivi's head. A head kick misses from Stukov. Kivi clobbers Stukov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Stukov tries to bum rush Kivi with a series of wild strikes but Kivi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stukov throws a jab but it's blocked by Kivi. Stukov misses with a double jab.
Stukov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kivi checks it well. Stukov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kivi. Stukov misses with a straight right. Kivi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A swing and a miss from Kivi. Kivi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Stukov is trying to push Kivi away but Kivi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kivi. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stukov has had enough of the clinch but Kivi keeps him there for the moment. Nice body punch from Kivi. Kivi scores with a shoulder strike. Stukov wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Krylov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Sidorov! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Krylov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sidorov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Krylov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Krylov looks to land a right hand but Sidorov moved out of range. Sidorov shoots in for a takedown but Krylov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sidorov shoots in and gets a takedown into Krylov's guard. Krylov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sidorov is aware though and is defending well. Sidorov slips nicely into half guard. Sidorov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Krylov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sidorov prevents Krylov from improving his position. Krylov actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krylov is trying to maintain the position but Sidorov is very close to passing his half guard. Sidorov is pressing down on Krylov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Krylov is holding on for now. Krylov's coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Sidorov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krylov tries to lock up and control but Sidorov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee warns Krylov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sidorov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Sidorov with the ground and pound from mount. Krylov tries to lock up and control but Sidorov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sidorov lands a heavy elbow. Krylov is rocked! Krylov is trying to escape the mount.
Sidorov breaks from Krylov's wrist control and lands an elbow. Oh Krylov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sidorov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Krylov wants to control but Sidorov is having none of it. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Sidorov! Krylov is out cold! This one is all over!
