With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kawainui Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Telushikin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry throws a low kick but Telushikin moves out of range easily. Perry avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Telushikin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Telushikin clinches up with Perry and pushes him back against the ropes. Perry makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Telushikin misses with a hook from the clinch. Perry throws an elbow but it misses.
Perry blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short right from Perry. Perry lands a shoulder strike. A short uppercut from Perry. Perry lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Perry blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Telushikin scores with a shot to the side of Perry's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perry working aggressively here.
Perry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Perry moves away from the strike by Telushikin. Perry throws a hook but Telushikin avoids it easily. Perry connects with a right hand. Telushikin shakes it off. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Telushikin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Telushikin feints a jab promting Perry to slip. Telushikin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Perry slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Telushikin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Telushikin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Perry. Telushikin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Perry. Telushikin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Telushikin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Perry scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Telushikin is rocked! Perry lands with a good body shot. Perry closes the distance and catches Telushikin with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Telushikin is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Telushikin is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Telushikin is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Perry takes it!

With a record of 32 - 52 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Berto Kin! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watkins lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Watkins. Watkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kin was well out of range. Poor timing from Watkins. Kin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Watkins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kin momentarily.
Kin is rocked! Watkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kin throws a series of punches but Watkins avoids them all with ease. We've been told by Watkins's head coaches at Hawaii Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Watkins throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Watkins showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kin.
Berto Kin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kin thows a leg kick but Watkins checks it and Kin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Watkins closes the distance and catches Kin with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Kin is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Kin is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Kin is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue!
