The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Two gets a clinch. One keeps control of Two as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. One dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. One has Two pushed against the cage. One seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. One has Two pressed against the cage.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Nichols (ranked 3776 p4p, 3324 weight class) and Jokubas Antukis (ranked 435 p4p, 388 weight class). Antukis has chosen "Terminator" - Sevendust as his entrance music. Nichols has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waters moves in looking to clinch but Fister pushes him off. Fister seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Waters looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Fister keeps the fight on the outside. Waters moves in looking to clinch but Fister pushes him off. Fister throws out a powerful jab. Fister keeps the fight on the outside. Nice straight punches there by Fister. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fister. Fister connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Waters takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Waters is rocked! Fister definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fister misses with an uppercut. Waters saw that one coming. Waters is still on wobbly legs! Can Fister finish him? Fister getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Waters keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fister. Fister's jab looks to have found its range, popping Waters under the eye.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fister smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Fister drops Waters with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Waters! Fister dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doomwood pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Doomwood looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Doomwood misses with a body shot.
Turnpike is looking to counter the offense by Doomwood and move into the clinch. Turnpike misses with an uppercut. Doomwood misses with a body shot.
Doomwood keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Turnpike avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Doomwood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faroshev slaps away a takedown attempt from Hunter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Faroshev with the counter takedown but Hunter avoids it easily. Hunter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hunter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hunter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Faroshev wants to stand up but Hunter is controlling him. Hunter stays in close to Faroshev's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Faroshev's guard. Hunter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torso circles away from the clinch attempt and Torso counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Torso uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cabral has time to react. Cabral wants to clinch up but Torso keeps it at a distance. Cabral takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fighters circle momentarily. Torso darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Torso throws a hook but Cabral avoids it easily. Torso is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Torso is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cabral couldn't care less - he's delighted!
