Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Torso (ranked 2001 p4p, 2371 weight class) and Jersey Turnpike (ranked 260 p4p, 299 weight class). Turnpike has chosen Don’t Stop the Party -Pitbull ft TJR as his entrance music. Torso is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Oh Torso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turnpike finds Torso's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Torso flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Turnpike lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Torso will be OK.

He tries to recover but Faroshev pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cabral is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Hunter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Waters looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hunter uses his free foot to push down on Waters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Waters.

Hunter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Waters to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Waters shrugs it off.
Waters is looking to improve his position but Hunter isn't that keen on the idea.

Hunter throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Waters has his hands clasped together but Hunter breaks the hold and Waters is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hunter!
