Cabral is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Waters is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cabral has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Waters is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cabral.

Cabral tries to bench press Waters off him but Waters keeps the position.

I really don't envy Waters right now.

Cabral feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Waters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cabral gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nichols throws out a counter right but Reynolds avoids it with no problem.

Nichols lands a brutal uppercut that launches Reynolds off his feet! Reynolds tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
