Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Tone! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Daniels. A nice combination there by Daniels.
Daniels gets in close and instigates a clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Daniels.
Tone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Daniels misses with a punch to the body.
Tone pulls guard successfully.
Tone wants to stand up but Daniels is controlling him. Daniels has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Daniels tries to free his leg and advance position but Tone is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Daniels continues to stall.

Tone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Tone looks to land a combination but Daniels avoids it well. Daniels has Tone up against the cage in a clinch.

Mferi cracks Terguson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mferi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Terguson. Mferi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tergusons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Terguson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Mferi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Mferi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A slow jab from Terguson misses its intended target. Terguson is looking to clinch but Mferi is avoiding it.
It looked like Mferi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Terguson. Mferi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Man Ii clinches up against the cage. Man Ii lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kurmanov or not. Man Ii gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kurmanov.

He thinks about going to the ground but Ramirez looks back up at him and smiles so Onana waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ramirez is still on wobbly legs! Can Onana finish him? That has opened up Jaden Ramirez's cut even more. Ramirez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Onana throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ramirez clean off his feet! He's out cold! Onana stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Mullen. Horiguchi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mullen fights it off and pushes away nicely.

As Mullen looks to move away, Horiguchi throws a big counter combo but Mullen just gets out of the way. Horiguchi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mullen scores with the left hand. Horiguchi knows he should have avoided that one. Mullen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Jab, jab by Mullen - just one landing. Horiguchi jabbing away but nothing is landing. A telegraphed right hand from Mullen misses the target. Horiguchi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mullen scores with a jab to the body. Horiguchi moves out of range as Mullen strikes. As Mullen looks to move away, Horiguchi throws a big counter combo but Mullen just gets out of the way. Mullen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Horiguchi seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Quintin Mullen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Mullen slaps away a takedown attempt from Horiguchi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Horiguchi, as that shot connected.
Mullen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Horiguchi's head backwards. Mullen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Mullen throws a body shot but no joy. Horiguchi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mullen avoids the head kick by Horiguchi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mullen lands a right hook to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Horiguchi 's head but he takes it in his stride. Horiguchi throws a half hearted mid kick. Mullen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Horiguchi manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horiguchi ducks right into an uppercut from Mullen. Horiguchi slips a straight right by Mullen. Mullen loads up on a big right hand but Horiguchi slips the punch. Mullen punishes Horiguchi's body with a nice straight punch. Mullen digs a good body shot into Horiguchi's ribs. Mullen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Horiguchi counters with a series of strikes. Mullen will be more careful next time no doubt. Horiguchi walks into a stiff left hand from Mullen. Mullen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Horiguchi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mullen. Horiguchi slips under a jab. Horiguchi appears to be looking for a big counter. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Horiguchi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mullen. Horiguchi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mullen's waist but Mullen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Horiguchi off to one side. That's two minutes gone in the round. Horiguchi tests Mullen's chin there with a solid looking shot. Mullen dips to his left and cracks Horiguchi with an uppercut! Horiguchi takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mullen missing with a left hand there. Horiguchi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mullen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mullen throws a shot to the body.
Mullen cracks a nice hook into Horiguchi's ribs. Mullen is breathing heavily. Mullen misses with a looping right. The fighters circling - Mullen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mullen scores with a hook to the body. Horiguchi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mullen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horiguchi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mullen is refusing to be controlled, as Horiguchi sits in half guard. Horiguchi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Mullen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horiguchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Horiguchi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mullen has managed to free his arm - good work. Horiguchi works his way into full mount! Mullen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Horiguchi locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mullen is forced to tap!
