Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogan Josh (ranked 2990 p4p, 3236 weight class) and Jett Robins (ranked 202 p4p, 215 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Josh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Radar Love - Golden Earring. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rogan Josh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jett Robins! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Josh lands a high kick!
It looks like Jett Robins has been cut. Josh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Robins throws out the jab. Josh tries to land a front kick but Robins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Robins throws an overhand right that lands on Josh's shoulder, as Josh tries to avoid the shot. Josh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Josh somewhat. Josh connects with a body shot. Robins lands a two punch combo.
Josh scores with a nice head shot. Robins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Robins is rocked! Josh clinches up with Robins and pushes him back against the cage. Robins is still on wobbly legs! Can Josh finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Josh looking to score a takedown. He gets a body lock and scores a very heavy trip takedown. That's knocked the wind out of Robins! Josh lands strikes from the mount and the ref steps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atunes misses with a body kick. Atunes bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Jao Atunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Atunes leaves Rodriguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Atunes misses with a low kick.
Atunes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rodriguez is out of range and Atunes settles back down. Rodriguez half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nice cross by Atunes . Atunes scores with a sloppy right hand. Rodriguez should have avoided that one. Atunes connects with a leg kick. Atunes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rodriguez to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rodriguez won't allow Atunes to sweep him here. Rodriguez has gone for a leg lock! Atunes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rodriguez's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodriguez wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodriguez looking to control.
Rodriguez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Atunes defends it easily. Atunes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rodriguez is keeping the position for now. Atunes stopping the sweep attempt from Rodriguez. Rodriguez is pulling down on Atunes 's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Atunes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rodriguez working for a triangle but Atunes defends it easily.
Atunes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rodriguez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Atunes has his hands clasped together but Rodriguez extends and breaks Atunes 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rodriguez.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barkley on the wrong end of a nice hook. Barkley needs to keep his hands up - Corbin had a free shot at his head there. Barkley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Corbin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Barkley throws a head kick that misses. Corbin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Barkley scores with a kick to the body.
Corbin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barkley moves away. Barkley tries a quick counter leg kick but Corbin is wise to it. Barkley thows a leg kick but Corbin checks it and Corbin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Barkley is looking to control Corbin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barkley avoid being mounted? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barkley looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corbin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Barkley trying to hold on to Corbin's head to control him but Corbin postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barkley trying to control the hands but Corbin breaks the grip. Can Barkley hold on?! Corbin is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Corbin is not going to allow Barkley to sit and survive in this position. Corbin tightening his grip on Barkley, looking for the choke. Corbin is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's five minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Barkley right now.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Corbin working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Corbin has good solid back control here. Barkley just trying to survive but Corbin is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Barkley trying to get back to his feet but Corbin is in full control for now. Corbin lands a shot to the head.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Barkley tries to escape but Corbin has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Corbin lands an elbow to the side of the head. Barkley rolls, trying to escape but Corbin keeps control of the position.
Barkley covers up after that shot from Corbin.
Barkley looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Corbin lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Barkley hold on?!
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Corbin lands a shot to the body. Corbin is not going to allow Barkley to sit and survive in this position. Corbin controlling from the back. Barkley trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Barkley might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Corbin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Barkley is trying to stand back up.

Corbin slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Corbin lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ulysses Corbin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Corbin just misses with a punch to the body.
An inside leg kick from Barkley misses. Corbin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barkley did well to prevent Corbin getting side control. Corbin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Corbin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barkley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Corbin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Corbin is just content to waste time from the top position. Barkley takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Corbin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barkley swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corbin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Corbin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Zavian Barkley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Corbin scores with a jab. Corbin misses with the combination.
Barkley tries to counter by closing the distance. Barkley scores with a kick to the midsection. Barkley chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The crowd cheers as Corbin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barkley doesn't seem phased though. Barkley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Corbin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Barkley misses with an uppercut
and Corbin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barkley scores with a head kick. Corbin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Corbin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barkley quickly recovers to half guard. Well, if Corbin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Corbin swings around for an armbar but Barkley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Corbin's guard. Corbin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barkley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Corbin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barkley is one step ahead there.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Barkley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Barkley wants to control from the top but Corbin keeps moving. Barkley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Corbin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Barkley is looking to defend but Corbin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Barkley! Corbin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Barkley taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Graves was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith. Graves connects with a leg kick. Graves looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range. Graves thuds his right hand into Smith's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Smith blocks a jab. Smith scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Smith slips under a jab. Graves misses with a left hand and Smith counters with a stiff right hand. Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Graves lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Graves takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Graves looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith throws the kick towards the body but Graves avoids it. Graves misses with a body kick. Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It connects and Graves has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Graves lands with a kick to the ribs.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Graves walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Graves swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Smith's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daverio Graves! A relieved looking Daverio Graves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Gaines moves out of range of the strikes. Gaines chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Raharu can pounce on him.
Raharu swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gaines counters with a one-two to the body. Raharu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Raharu lands a jab to the head.
