The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leonidas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Leonidas looks to land a body kick but Kursiwa moved away. Kursiwa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Great action here. Thulani moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Thulani wants to get back to his feet but King is in a dominant position and won't allow it. King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thulani is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Thulani is just content to waste time from the top position. King takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ledley King will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Dustfinger is rocked! Thorsby lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Dustfinger up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Thorsby from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Dustfinger's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Benjamin tests Kruth's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kruth shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Benjamin sprawls well. Benjamin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kruth gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruth doesn't succeed with the takedown and Benjamin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Benjamin thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kruth if he has to take too many more of those.

Benjamin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kruth will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
