The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northrop with the inside leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Northrop.
Bilesdon tries to land a front kick but Northrop steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Northrop throwing a counter right hand but Bilesdon manages to avoid it.
Northrop defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bilesdon.
Bilesdon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Northrop jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Northrop swings for the body but Bilesdon moves out of range.

Bilesdon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bilesdon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Northrop to score with a decent uppercut.
We've been told by Northrop's head coaches at MMAH League and Warrior Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Northrop circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bilesdon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ming slips a jab from Ewing.

Ming stuns Ewing with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ewing uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ming.

Ewing moves into the clinch successfully.
Ming tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ewing lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ming blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Ewing is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

and Ewing counters with a crisp one two that drops Ming! Ewing thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ming to his feet! Ming is in big trouble!

Ming is looking to wear down Ewing with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ewing lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harinck.
Luokkamaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harinck moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luokkamaki enables Harinck to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luokkamaki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
