Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andreas Jes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Narushima Koga! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koga throws a body shot but no joy. Koga walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jes lands with an uppercut that bounces Koga off the ropes and back into range. Jes digs a good body shot into Koga's ribs. Jes jabs Koga to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jes scores with a hook to the body. Koga takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jes cracks Koga with a good jab. Jes scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A low kick from Koga is predictable there and Jes counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jes throws the left hand but Koga avoids the punch easily. Jes moves out of range of the body kick from Koga.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jes lands with a straight right. Koga didn't see that one coming. Jes scores with a nice right hand.

Koga throws a head kick that misses and Jes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Koga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Jes on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Koga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Koga looks to throw a body kick and Koga takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Koga takes a body punch but keeps moving. Koga takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jes throws a body punch but Koga moves out of range. A little jabbing left from Koga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koga tries to clinch up but Jes circles away and keeps his distance. Jes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jes stuns Koga with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Koga looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Koga is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jes dodges the punch combination from Koga.

Jes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Koga's head. Andreas Jes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koga avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've been informed that Koga has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Jes lands a jab to Koga's midsection. Jes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koga can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Jes with a jab. Jes stuns Koga with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A right-left combo lands from Jes. Jes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koga moves away. Nice uppercut there from Jes. Jes clobbers Koga with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A punch lands to the side of Koga 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Koga under the eye. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A lazy left from Jes finds it's target. Jes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koga manages to avoid it. Koga throws a sloppy head kick and Jes moves out of range easily. Jes avoids the head kick by Koga.
Koga throws out a leg kick but Jes moves out of range and Koga only half commits. An attempted straight right counter from Jes misses the target.

Jes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Koga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jes throws a shot to the body.
Koga drops his hands momentarily and Jes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Koga has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Koga takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jes checks a low kick from Koga. Jes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koga was well out of range. Poor timing from Jes. Koga let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A jab from Jes does it's job there. Jab by Jes. Jes jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Jes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Koga takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jes lands with a cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jes works the jab nicely. Koga takes a shot right to the bread basket. A big right from Koga misses. Jes cracks Koga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jes feints a jab promting Koga to slip. Jes then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Koga slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The fighters circle momentarily. Jes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A head kick misses from Koga. Koga has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koga there as he acknowledges the shot. Koga has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jes finds it's way round the side to connect with Koga's head. A right-left combo lands from Jes. Koga is rocked! Jes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koga.

Narushima Koga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koga takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jes dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Good shot there by Jes. Jes scores with a nice right hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Maltus jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Punch's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maltus connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Punch scrambles back to his feet. Punch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Maltus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Punch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Maltus closes the distance and clinches. Punch misses with the head strike.
Punch pushes Maltus back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Punch struggles to land a body shot inside as Maltus controls his hands.
Maltus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Punch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maltus moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miettinen looks to throw the jab but Tartle is out of range. Tartle scores with a hook. Miettinen misses with a body kick. Nice jab there from Miettinen. Tartle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tartle staggers Miettinen with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Miettinen looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tartle tries to score with a low kick but Miettinen moves his leg out of the way. Tartle loads up on a big right hand but Miettinen slips the punch. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Miettinen! But no joy. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tartle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miettinen - the referee stops the clock and Tartle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miettinen. Tartle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miettinen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tartle misses with a lunging right hand
and Miettinen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nice cross by Tartle. Tartle tries to clinch up but Miettinen circles away and keeps his distance. Miettinen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Miettinen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tartle. Miettinen scores with a head kick. Tartle tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Tartle throws a sloppy head kick and Miettinen moves out of range easily. Tartle blocks a head kick by Miettinen.

Miettinen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tartle can pounce on him.
Miettinen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tartle is breathing heavily. Miettinen thuds a left hand into Tartle's body. Miettinen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Miettinen throws a push kick but Tartle slaps the foot to one side. Miettinen lands with a straight right. Tartle didn't see that one coming. Miettinen is looking to land body kicks. Miettinen throws a series of punches but Tartle moves out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miettinen scores with a head kick.

Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Miettinen takes it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stridh throws the left hand but Watts avoids the punch easily. Watts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Stridh gets in close and instigates a clinch. Watts told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Watts is trying to break the clinch but Stridh has him pressed against the ropes. Watts is trying to force a seperation but Stridh has the dominant position. Stridh softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Stridh leaning against his opponent.

Stridh moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Stridh throws the left hand but Watts avoids the punch easily. Watts attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Watts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Watts there as he acknowledges the shot. Stridh scores with a jab to the jaw. Stridh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Watts looks to land a body kick but Stridh moved away. Stridh was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Watts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stridh. It looks like Vilmer Stridh has been cut. A combination from Watts does no damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stridh works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Stridh bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Stridh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Stridh throws a lazy right hand but Watts sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Stridh is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Stridh slips a jab and a cross from Watts.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stridh rushes Watts and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Watts's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Stridh lands with a left to the head. Stridh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Watts backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stridh. Watts is rocked! Stridh keeps control of Watts as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Watts is still on wobbly legs! Can Stridh finish him? Stridh manages to break the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Watts tries to land a front kick but Stridh steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. No joy there for Stridh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stridh cracks Watts with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
