Isamu-san was an amateur boxer from Tokyo before meeting MMA manager David Septim at a video game assembly in Japan. Septim convinced him to participate in the hybrid combat sport of KT and despite Isamu not having any prior experience, he jumped at the chance. Initially going 11-0, in an interview with a Japanese reporter he credited it to 'beer and cigarettes' consumed before the fights. Beat James Dalton to become the inaugural SSKT Champion. |
