With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Tucker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joao Gabriel! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nice shot lands for Tucker. Tucker lands a really nice looking cross but Gabriel seems unphased.
Tucker throws the left hand but Gabriel avoids the punch easily. Gabriel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Gabriel slips a straight right by Tucker. and Lasner counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lasner throws a big right hand that misses. Lasner tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. A shot to the body from Garak misses and Mickey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mickey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Garak.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garak wants to clinch but Mickey slips to the side and Mickey counters with a straight right hand. Garak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mickey, pushing him back against the cage. Mickey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A big left from Garak misses. Mickey connects with a body shot. Garak misses with a lunging right hand
and Mickey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mickey connects with a solid leg kick. Elim Garak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mickey connects with a leg kick. Garak feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mickeys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Garak drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mickey misses with an uppercut. Garak saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Garak on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Garak drops his hands momentarily and Mickey takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Mickey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Garak. That did some damage! Garak with a poor takedown and Mickey counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mickey cracks Garak with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Mickey throws a head kick that misses. Mickey throws a body shot but no joy. Garak scores with a jab to the body. Garak avoids the head kick by Mickey.
Mickey is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Garak throws a solid leg kick but Mickey takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Garak. Mickey walks into a left hand. Garak throws a body punch but Mickey moves out of range. Garak throws a right hand that misses
and Mickey counters with a stiff right hand. Mickey throws a body kick that misses. Garak looks to land a left hand but Mickey moved out of range nicely. Mickey throws out a loose jab but Garak uses good head movement to avoid it. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mickey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garak misses the jab. Mickey misses with a hook. Garak misses with a straight left. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garak doesn't manage to clinch there - Mickey circles away.
Mickey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Mickey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garak.
Garak moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Garak takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mickey throws a nice head kick!

Garak walks into a left hand. Mickey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Garak has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Garak lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
And that's the end of the fight! Gage Mickey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mickey winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
