The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marreta doesn't manage to clinch there - Hillburn circles away.
Marreta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hillburn swivels and escapes.
Hillburn swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Marreta has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hillburn.
Marreta dives in for a single leg takedown but Hillburn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've been told by Hillburn's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
