Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giorgi Gorgodze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Swayze! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Winston Howard and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swayze misses with a hook. Gorgodze ducked under it nicely. Swayze cracks Gorgodze with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Gorgodze throws a sloppy head kick and Swayze moves out of range easily. Swayze scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A head kick misses from Gorgodze. Swayze cracks Gorgodze with a good jab. Gorgodze rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Swayze counters with a straight right hand. Gorgodze gets the takedown into side control. Swayze looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. This has been an exciting period of action! Gorgodze lands a nice forearm strike. Gorgodze tries for a kimura but Swayze is defending well. Gorgodze is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Swayze will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorgodze's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Swayze taking a bit of punishment here - Gorgodze scoring with strikes. Gorgodze tries to advance to mount but Swayze denies him. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gorgodze cracks Swayze with a big elbow. Gorgodze is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Swayze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Swayze being controlled for a moment. Further stalling from Gorgodze.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorgodze has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gorgodze landing a few strikes. Swayze taking punishment in the form of punches.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Gorgodze advances nicely into full mount.

Gorgodze looking for a guillotine from mount but Swayze is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gorgodze content just to control the position here. Oooh a lovely combination from Swayze sends Gorgodze down but not out. Swayze dives into side control looking to finish. Gorgodze is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Swayze tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Oh Gorgodze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gorgodze holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Swayze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gorgodze keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gorgodze is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Gorgodze wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gorgodze manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Swayze wants to get up but he can't break Gorgodze's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Gorgodze seems to have got his legs back now. Gorgodze lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Gorgodze slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Swayze is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Gorgodze is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Swayze's shoulder. That is not cool.

Gorgodze working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gorgodze controls the position. Gorgodze decides to stand back up. Gorgodze fails with an attempt to clinch.
Giorgi Gorgodze is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gorgodze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Swayze trying to remain calm as Gorgodze controls from the top position.

Gorgodze moves in looking to clinch but Swayze pushes him off. It seemed like Swayze was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Gorgodze looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Swayze throws a hook but Gorgodze blocks it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Gorgodze throws a head kick that misses. Swayze fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Gorgodze seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Swayze throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gorgodze counters with a nice double leg into side control. Swayze won't be happy with that. Gorgodze stands up and we're back to a striking position. Gorgodze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gorgodze keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Swayze's head. Gorgodze looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorgodze passes Swayze's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Gorgodze seems content to control. Gorgodze wants to pass to mount but Swayze is defending the position. Gorgodze is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gorgodze is taking a breather. Swayze says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Gorgodze is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gorgodze not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Tsering, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Irving went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tsering misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tsering throws a combination that misses and Irving counters with a right hand to the body. Tsering throws a lazy head kick and Irving counters with a lovely straight right hand! It looks like Tenzin Tsering has been cut. Tsering takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tsering gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Irving cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Irving could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tsering looks winded! Irving feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Tsering crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Edwin Irving! Edwin Irving decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Tenzin Tsering was interviewed post fight and said 'Without loss, we would not grow. I will be back and better.'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuimaono paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. It looks like Beluga Maluga has been cut. Maluga closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Maluga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Maluga cracks Fuimaono with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fuimaono looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Maluga finish him?
It looks like Piliki Fuimaono has been cut. Donk. Fuimaono catches Maluga right on the button with a cross. This has been an exciting period of action! Maluga blocks a jab. Maluga gets caught flat footed, as Fuimaono shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fuimaono working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Maluga's head.
