The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolar swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dana. Kolar connects with a single shot there. Dana is rocked! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Chapman. It looks like Brock Duncan has been cut. Duncan misses with an uppercut. Duncan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chapman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chapman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Duncan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Chapman is trying to buck Duncan off. Duncan landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoya Li! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Li there as he acknowledges the shot. Li closes the distance but Nakamura moves to the side and Nakamura counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Li throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Li looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nakamura loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Nakamura throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Li works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nakamura with a flurry of punches that miss. Li wants to sweep here but Nakamura controlling him for the moment. Li trying to keep a closed guard but Nakamura is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nakamura drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Li dives on top into guard. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nakamura definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nakamura is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nakamura wants to sweep here but Li controlling him for the moment. Li would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Li sitting in guard here, content to control. Nakamura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Li has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Nakamura working over Li with some ground and pound. Li looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Nakamura is really struggling to control Li but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Nakamura is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Li doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nakamura. Nakamura is looking for a kimura but Li is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nakamura to get the leverage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Li wants to get back to full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rinya Nakamura dominated that round. That's time! Nakamura's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Nakamura misses with a wild body shot. Li lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Nakamura stalks Li and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Li's face. Li staggers backwards, shaken. No luck with that takedown attempt from Li. Li misses with a wild combination.
Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Nakamura circles away.
Nakamura throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Li on the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li dives in for a single leg takedown but Nakamura sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nakamura appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Nakamura misses with a wild combination.
Nakamura is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Li can do to turn this around?

Nakamura looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Nakamura is trying to control the action in half guard but Li is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Li is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura wants to control but Li is keeping him busy. Li keeping hold of Nakamura's head, controlling as best he can. Nakamura not landing any meaningful shots this time. Nakamura is nestled in close to Li, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nakamura seems to be working for a kimura but Li defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Li does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Li tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Nakamura drops an elbow to the side of Li's head. Li looks like he's trying to stand up.

Nakamura trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. Nakamura is working Li over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Li looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nakamura with a nice head shot there. Nakamura advances position into side control! Li is breathing heavily. Li is not content to let Nakamura control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rinya Nakamura dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Li throws a nice looking combination but Nakamura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Li tries to close the distance and clinch but Nakamura swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Li changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nakamura tries to avoid it but Li manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nakamura to the ground. Nakamura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nakamura attempts a counter takedown but Li avoids it well and moves away. A nice combination there by Li.
Li misses with a takedown attempt and Nakamura counters with a lovely straight right hand! Li uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Li moves in looking to clinch but Nakamura pushes him off. Nakamura changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura swats away the attempt to clinch by Li. Li misses with a lunging right hand
and Nakamura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Li takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Li moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura tries for a takedown but Li manages to get underhooks.
Li is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nakamura is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Li to the mat. Li regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Nakamura throws a big right hand that misses. Li is trying to hold Nakamura in close to prevent damage but Nakamura has managed to pass into half guard.
Nakamura landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nakamura in particular looking to stall. Nakamura seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Nakamura is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Li! Nakamura lands with some strikes. Li is bucking up trying to escape but Nakamura cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Nakamura raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nakamura scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Li sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Li is looking for a sweep. Nakamura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nakamura has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Li defend it? Nakamura steps over the head and cranks it - Li is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nakamura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragosavac connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. It looks like Kenny Omega has been cut. Omega fails with a takedown attempt. Dragosavac is looking to counter punch. Omega takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Dragosavac sends Omega crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dragosavac is motioning to the referee to let Omega up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Omega is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Omega walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Dragosavac swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

As Gonzo Dragosavac got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: 3-0 against Chris Chan. Victory is sweet but pussy of his wife is sweeter. I am getting too old for this and might be retiring soon, it was good rivalry and spite of it i wish him all the best!!! Hope at least he buys my DVD and learn's something'.
