With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Adrian Atkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Nickels! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nickels shoots in and drives through. Atkins sprawls well. Nickels is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Atkins lands with an overhand left. It looks like Jimmy Nickels has been cut. Nickels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Atkins's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Atkins is on top in guard.

Atkins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Nickels is trying to get back to half guard. Nickels can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pugsley moves into range and clinches up with Alawi. Pugsley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Alawi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pugsley to the mat. Pugsley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
