Cifaretto has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hartford is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cifaretto.

Hartford decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cifaretto to his feet.

Well Hartford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Begaye shoots in for a double leg but Chhu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Begaye has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Drangme Chhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Begaye shoots for a double leg takedown but Chhu sprawls well. He's pushed Begaye's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chhu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Begaye has time to react.
It looks like Tallulah Begaye has been cut.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Crenshaw.
