That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Hansen.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 830 p4p, 2498 weight class) and Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 92 p4p, 233 weight class). Kanaani has chosen Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mehdi Kanaani struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Soares lands with a right that hurts Shima. Shima looks to clinch but Soares throws a short knee that drops Shima. This one is all over!
