The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gayman to score with a decent uppercut.
Gayman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Gayman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rivera doesn't seem phased though.

so Rivera counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gayman wants to stand and escape but Rivera is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gayman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Burzum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burzum somewhat.
